Although things have slowed in the workshop, we’ve been busy navigating this moment in time as a team. We remain devoted to Sawkille and to a creative vision although we, like many small businesses, do not know what the future will support, we remain steady and wiling to adapt.
Sawkille is fortunate to have such wonderful, appreciative clients and within the world of a handmade business there isn’t any lack of heart; we are finishing orders and filling new while respecting all safety mandates.
With our storefront closed and many people working from home we are offering a list of highly discounted pieces ready to ship, to keep the wheels greased and share resources needed in our community.
Sawkille remains connected to it’s community in Kingston and Woodstock and has continued to donate to Family of Woodstock (https://www.familyofwoodstockinc.org/family-of-woodstock-needs-your-support-right-now/) a community organization providing the oldest around the clock hotline in the US, food shelters and prepared meals delivered to those unable to access food distribution. Their list is extensive and their infrastructure is making real help available in this time of crisis to those tremendously affected by the virus, mentally and economically.
20% of SALE proceeds will go directly to Family of Woodstock.
Our discounted items will be available for purchase starting Monday 4/13 via our instagram handle - please follow and keep an eye on the page for the list of available pieces and pricing. If you have any questions we'd love to hear from you, shoot us an email at [email protected]
We hope you're all staying happy and healthy.
