Sometimes (and I mean extremely rarely), I am scrolling Marketplace at just the right time. Today was my lucky day...saw this listed for FREE and contacted them right away. I was home and able to go NOW. The drawer needs fixed but that's no biggie for me. Loves these random scores! It'll be a beauty!!

Today was pick up day for my new finds! White Furniture, Kling, Thomasville and Crawford Furniture, and a Singer Sewing base table. All good stuff!! I have some catching up to do to get to my allowable amount of furniture available at the shop...being open 5 weekends in a row has made it hard to keep up! But that's a good problem to have, so I'm in my shop as much as possible lately!!
This weekend is our last open weekend of the year so we hope you can join us! We have lots of gift ideas!! Open Friday-Sunday 10-5 each day December 12th to the 14th!

I was determined to not post one of those "shop small" shared photos. But, I keep seeing them everywhere! So here's my take on small business.

As we approach what many people think of the start of the Christmas season, we here at Endeavor's Our Gathered Home, have been fully engaged in the season for weeks!

The shop small signs come out this time of the year and especially this Saturday. Small business Saturday is a day created just a few years ago by a credit card company to suggest supporting small business's while out holiday shopping.

Small business owners regardless of what their business is, are all hard workers and appreciative all year long. We don't care if you spend $1 or $1000. You are all equal in our eyes. You chose to walk through our doors. That itself is the reason we do this!

I have vendors who sell one thing and are incredibly humbled that a customer liked what they created. Most of us as well, choose to spend our money locally to local people we can shake their hand and say Thank you to.

It isn't a movement, or a day. It is a choice we all make with each purchase we make.

I'm finishing up this amazing 4pc Mid Century bedroom set for the shop! Look at those legs!! I'm so glad all of the original hardware is intact too. I took them from dreary and dull to a vintage patina with my Rub 'n Buff combo, then sprayed with Shellac. I even painted the little metal feet on the dressers to match. This set is going to stun in all black! I can't wait to post the finished product!

Scored some more cabinet doors for some cool future signs! Today I filled holes, sanded and cleaned. Tomorrow, prime, paint and start printing out some designs on my Silhouette Cameo!

Below are two buffets currently available at
Endeavor's Our Gathered Home!

First, the traditional 4 door buffet by Temple Stuart was reimagined in Fusion's Bayberry, has a newly refinished top and all new hardware taking it out of the 80's! Lots of storage, and this tasteful pop of color might be just what your room needs!
60w, 35.5t, 19.5d ~ $420

Second is this gorgeous Jacobean style buffet by JK Ritschel Co. The before picture shows it was DYING for a makeover!! Minor repairs were needed before I prepped for paint. I try to save the tops whenever possible, but there were too many deep scratches, and sanding would've gone too deep into the veneer. So, I filled the scratches and then this piece got an all over paint job in Fusion's Ash. I cleaned and painted the original hardware in Rub n Buff's Ebony and European Gold which gives it an aged patina. A beautiful, leggy piece!!

We are open every weekend through mid-December, then we return to our normal 2nd-weekend-of-the-month schedule in January!
