Was hoping we could use some of the decorative spindles but I mean the porch is from 1873 so I guess she lasted as long as she could. And we love her for it.

Chris is filling in the old porch posts since the new railing has to be 36” high not barely knee height like the old ones from 1873. So cant use that connection.

I mean they were fine for us cuz we aren’t a tall people… maybe there is hope for Gabe… my distant Monahan genes might be lying dormant 🤞
The taller Gabe gets the less I will have to go on a 🪜 cuz Chris is not great with heights.
Gabe’s 6 so… thinking soon.

Demi is assisting.
And inspecting.
And distracting.
And waiting for a 🎾

Dont worry Chris got his tetanus shot this week for that pesky 100+ year old rusty nail thumb injury.
So we are good for a decade.
Plus he hit his medical quota for the year (with me) so should be smooth sailing ⛵️
