Excessive engine blow-by brought this truck into the shop. The solution? A complete in-frame engine overhaul performed by technicians who understand heavy-duty diesel equipment.

✅ Air compressor and high-pressure fuel pump removed
✅ Front cover and gear cover coming off
✅ Oil pan and pistons being removed
✅ Cylinders prepared for professional machining
✅ Refurbished cylinder head
✅ New pistons, rings, main bearings and rod bearings

Once the machine work is complete, we’ll carefully rebuild this engine and get it ready to return to the road with renewed power, reliability and the potential to keep working for many more miles.

🔥 THIS CODE PICKED THE WRONG SHOP 🔥

This 2016 International powered by a Cummins ISB 6.7 came into Rapid Diesel Repair with an intake air heater circuit fault.

⚡ Power to the relay checked out
✅ Ground signal to the relay checked out
🔧 Power from the relay to the intake heater checked out

The issue is that the ECM is not detecting enough voltage draw from the intake air heater circuit.

Since the intake heater is built into the intake manifold, our next step is replacing the complete intake manifold assembly and then running final testing to confirm the repair.

😤 THIS RAM 2500 BRAKE JOB GAVE US HELL… BUT WE HANDLED IT. 🔧

What started as a routine rear brake job turned into some serious troubleshooting when the rear rotor refused to seat properly onto the hub.

Our technicians tracked the problem down to the parking brake shoes catching on the brake shield, preventing them from fully collapsing.

A proper parking brake adjustment solved the issue, the rotor seated correctly, and we got the job done. ✅

Sometimes it’s not about replacing parts. It’s about knowing how to find the problem when things don’t go as planned.

🔧 Crankshaft Position Sensor R&R | 2018 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel

Another EcoDiesel back on the road. 💪

This 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel came in for a crankshaft position sensor removal & replacement (R&R).

The crankshaft position sensor plays a critical role in engine timing and engine management. When it starts failing, you may experience hard starting, stalling, rough running, check engine lights, intermittent no-start conditions, or performance issues.

Our team diagnosed the issue, replaced the crank sensor, and got this Ram ready to get back to work. 🛠️
