Arrowhead NC Arrowhead is the manifestation of a passion for quality craftsmanship and design. A hobby became an obsession, and Arrowhead was born.

Drawing from a wealth of reclaimed and locally available materials, from barn deconstructions to milling our own timber lot, we construct custom furniture that honors the character and spirit of the South. Focusing on wood, metal, and leather, Arrowhead’s fabrications take many forms, all of which intend to capture the simple beauty of available materials. Justin and Matthew began collaborating in

another medium altogether, Justin a chef, Matthew a farmer. After working together on the aesthetics of cuisine, they expanded the conversation, eventually focusing on furniture design. Please feel free to inquire about custom matters.

ARROWHEAD DESIGNS is looking for a talented current landscape architecture or landscape design student to join our growing studio for the spring '26 semester. This paid internship position is initially projected to be part-time (~16-20 hours), but may expand as needed and based on potential candidate's availability.

Interns will be expected to meaningfully contribute to design studies, graphic production, and documentation across all project phases. In addition to office design work, the position offers ample opportunity for on-site field work and construction administration.

Successful candidates will have:
-Strong graphic and verbal communication skills
-Demonstrated design sensibility and interest in residential landscape design
-Interest in Design/Build workflow and gaining hands-on construction administration experience
-Exceptional time management and ability to work independently
-Ability to work in a fast paced studio environment and move quickly between tasks/roles
-Reliable/easy going/good sense of humor/knows how to make a decent cup of coffee

ARROWHEAD BUILDING CO is seeking a skilled carpenter with new construction experience to join our framing crew as a lead framer.

Strong candidates will have:
-At least 3 years multi-story framing experience
-proficiency in rough framing/general carpentry conventions
-ability to read blueprints
-ability to perform all carpentry tasks efficiently and consistently with little supervision
-ability to lay out walls and accurately size window and door openings
-ability to verify square, plumb, and level
-ability to layout and cut stairs
-ability to cut rafters
-high attention to detail
-ability to direct a crew of 3-4 carpenters
-strong communication skills
-interest in high-performance building is a plus

Strong candidate must:
-have their own tool bags
-have all necessary hand tools for framing including circular saw, drill/driver
-have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
-be willing to commute throughout the Triangle
