Schedule Update

Hi, everyone! Here’s this week’s schedule:

• Today: I’ll be at the shop from 2 PM to 5 PM.
• Thursday: Open from 10 AM to 5 PM.
• Friday: Closed.
• Saturday: Open from 10 AM to 6 PM.

I want to sincerely apologize to those who have tried to stop by earlier this week. My youngest has been down with what we think is the flu, and we’re on our way to the doctor now to confirm. Because of this, I won’t be at the shop until 1 PM today.

I truly appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. Please know I live just a short distance from the shop, and I’m happy to set up appointments if needed. Feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Thank You for Your Generosity

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has donated supplies to help those in need in Western North Carolina. Your kindness and willingness to help have been overwhelming, and I’m truly grateful for each and every one of you who brought items to the porch or supported this effort in any way.

The tools, cooking supplies, diapers, formula, and other essential items have been picked up and will be distributed directly to those in need. However, I’ve learned that many of the clothes donated are being redistributed to neighboring towns through organizations like Goodwill and Salvation Army.

This leaves me with half a room full of clothing and kids’ toys that haven’t been sent out yet. Before making a final decision on how to handle these remaining items, I’d love your input. Would you prefer that I:

1️⃣ Donate the clothing locally to a homeless shelter, women’s shelter, foster home, church, or another organization?

2️⃣ Host a yard sale with the donated items and contribute all proceeds to Samaritan’s Purse or another nonprofit?
