The barn is built. Just waiting for an electrician to get our panel installed. And then I'll get back on finishing some projects and opening a physical store. In the mean time, I've aquire an eleven piece dining set that I have huge plans for! Stay tuned.

I have run out of space for my projects. We finally got approval to build a pole barn, but due to the weather of late, we haven't started construction. Stay tuned for spring. I hope to get things back up and running by then. Also, everything listed is still for sale.

I thought I would share a couple of my furniture flipping woes with you all.

Yesterday, I was working on sanding some tough wood that I pulled from an old desk top. My husband gave me a belt sander to use to make the job a little easier. I was working on it in the barn with the doors pulled tight. I couldn't get that darn sander to sand the wood at all. So, I added a little pressure and the next thing I know, the sander bit the wood and the whole piece shot like a rocket slamming into the barn doors, blowing them wide open, while the table I was working on buckled and fell to the floor. It was a site! Needless to say, I am using a smaller sander today. Lol.

And then, today, I was using a heat gun to bubble up some latex paint to make it easier to remove. Just as the paint began to bubble, smoke started rolling out of my wood piece. Apparently there was veneer under the paint and I had set it on fire! I blew on it and blew on it to get the fire out. I had to remove the veneer to get it to stop smoking!

At least tomorrow's a new day! Thank goodness!
