The Town Office will operate under reduced hours on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 for administrative purposes. The Office will open at 10 AM and will close at 2 PM.

Normal office hours will resume on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Paving Operations Notice to Residents of Old Wharf Lane:

Subject: Upcoming Road Paving Operations

Dear Residents,
This notice is to inform you that paving operations will be taking place in your neighborhood as part of the ongoing construction improvements.

Work Details
• Location: Old Wharf Lane
• Estimated Start Date: June 3
• Estimated Duration: 2 days, one day milling one day overlay.
• Work Hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

What to Expect
• Temporary lane closures and traffic delays
• Restricted on-street parking during active paving
• Limited access to driveways for short periods
• Construction equipment and workers in the area

Important Reminders
• Please avoid parking on the street during posted paving times
• Follow all posted signage and flagger instructions
• Use caution when traveling through the work zone

Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these improvements.

The Commissioner's meeting, scheduled for tonight at 6:00 p.m., has been cancelled due to lack of a quorum.

The meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 4/29/26 at 6:00 p.m.

🌸🌱SPRING PLANT SALE 🌱🌼

Friday May 8th, 12-6pm

This will take place during the fire company’s annual chicken bbq presale dinner. In order to get a dinner, you must buy a presale ticket because we typically run out day of. If you are interested in a dinner ticket, contact a member or send us an email DIRECTLY ([email protected]) - too many spammers out there that will try to take your money and we want to avoid that!

A Mother’s Day paint tutorial fundraiser. Fancy coffee, dessert, and childcare will be provided. Older children are welcome to participate. Registration is $30 per person. Proceeds will be split between the SCF Youth Group and Harriet’s House Ministries fighting human trafficking on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
