Hold your hand to your heart if you are a cancer survivor or know someone who is. Hold your hand to your heart if you know someone currently battling cancer. Hold your hand to your heart if you know someone who lost their battle to this horrible disease. Unfortunately most who have read my message have their hand to their heart because cancer affects so many lives throughout our world today. ❤️
My family has been supporting the American Cancer Society for over 30 years through the Relay For Life event held annually in Loudoun County. We started walking many years before it would take the life of Ron’s step Dad, affect the lives of many family members and friends, and even before Ron himself was diagnosed with cancer. Cancer does not discriminate by gender, race, age, economic status, etc. This fickle disease continues to destroy lives so we must continue the fight.
This years event will take place at Independence HS on May 11th from 5-11 PM. All are welcome to attend and if you are a survivor, you and a caretaker can attend a free dinner in your honor.
