The Cricket Step Stool was the very first piece we created in small batches for our dear friends and longtime design collaborators at Keeler & Co. | Interior Design - a husband-and-wife team whose eye for beauty, craftsmanship, and storytelling continues to inspire us.
Together with Laura and her team, we paired beloved Sister Parish Design fabrics with custom Claize finishes inspired by the wildly beautiful mountain and sea landscapes surrounding Seal Harbor, Maine, home to their lovely shop, Rusticator | Seal Harbor. Every finish, fabric, and detail was chosen with intention, creating a piece that feels deeply rooted in place while celebrating the timeless artistry of American craft.
We’re incredibly grateful to see the Cricket Step Stool featured in the current issue of Veranda, among a celebration of Icons of American Style. What began as a collaboration between friends has become one of our favorite examples of what can happen when shared values, creativity, and craftsmanship come together.
