Hi everyone,

Recently my wife Kayla, who is 26 weeks pregnant with our second child, was diagnosed wigh triple negative breast cancer. She has a treatment plan consisting chemo and surgeries. I’ll likely be stepping away from work for signficant amount of time to care of my wife and family. At this point we are accepting any help anyone’s willing to offer. Awesome! Just awesome! One of the more unique projects I’ve had the pleasure of working on. This claro walnut root nesting coffee table features a Stanford manhole cover. How cool is that?! The metal work was done by Jesse from Design Deschutes and is one of the last projects from my friends at Sand Lily Home. Bittersweet.

What’s great about doing custom work is having different species of wood to work with. This client provided three Himalayan cedar slabs to make this stunning table. The slabs came from a tree that had to be cut down from their property. Love being the maker behind sentimental pieces like this!

Beautiful “floating top” African mahogany dining table and matching bench.

This was really fun project to work on. Love the design with the large beveled edges on the underside of the tops to accentuate the “floating top” aspect.

One of my favorites! African mahogany with stone top.

I was especially proud of my work on these matching nightstands. These, although not the most technical build, are some of the finest work I’ve done. Cut and pressed my own veneers. Hand cut dovetailed drawers. Amazing polymerized tongue oil finish.
