After 3 months of arduous and meticulous work, we want to share our labor of love with you all. Our compass rose themed table is called “Rose-Wood” and it was so much fun to work on! Our unique perspectives allowed us to take an old, beat up coffee table and upcycle it into a beautiful piece of art!

Back in days long past, cartographers and explorers used to lay their large maps out on tables so that they could see the Earth for what it was... 🌎

We bring you a classic neutral gray with rich, dark-stained accents- along with a magnificent table face that stares back at you; creating a conversation piece that shows the Western Hemisphere in all its glory... without countries and without borders.

Welcome to Colors of the Grain! This is a small business, owned and operated in Princeton Junction, NJ by Yurani Farfán & Ryan Gumble. We take old, out-dated, wooden furniture and recycle it by giving it a second life with a touch of decorative color.
