Custom truck seat! I’m in love with how this one turned out! This came in completely falling apart with an Indian blanket slip cover on it. We fixed up the foam and gave him a custom seat and a place to put his 🥤.

“For that, I could buy new.”

And you’re right — you absolutely could.
But when that phrase is said, it often unintentionally compares handcrafted work to mass-produced furniture, and those two things aren’t built on the same foundation.

What many people don’t see is this:
Upholstery is skilled labor. It’s structural knowledge, material science, precision, patience, and years—sometimes decades—of experience. Every seam, every spring, every layer is done by hand, one piece at a time.

When someone says “for that, I could buy new,” it quietly devalues the artist behind the work. And yes—if we’re being honest—it can crush our souls a bit. Because it reduces craftsmanship to a price comparison instead of recognizing it as a profession.

There will always be cheaper, faster, disposable options.
What we offer is different.

We rebuild pieces to last.
We preserve quality frames instead of sending them to landfills.
We create furniture meant to be lived with for decades—not replaced every few years.

Supporting artisans isn’t about spending more for the sake of it.
It’s about valuing skill, longevity, sustainability, and human hands.

And we’re proud of that. 🤍

Just a little before and after. I don’t post a lot of these, but this is how a lot of projects come to me. This is a seat from a coal truck, the wood is cracked, rhe t-nuts are ripped out, the foam is only partially there and the cover is completely shredded. So with a little imagination and guess work, i cut new wood, added new stainless steel T-nuts and bolts, new foam and made a new cover for the seat. I think whoever operates this equipment will be super happy with this new seat!

Hair on cowhide is just so cool. Especially when it’s going to a super cool family who owns a sweet ranch in carbon county. I’m obsessed with this one.

Did you all know i do work for dentist and dr offices? These are some recent chairs i just finished up for Dr Lund, they also wanted clear plastic covers to cover the whole bottom instead of just the feet area so i made some of those too! I forgot to snap a picture of the old ones, but they had been beat up pretty bad, they had used a company to do some vinyl repair work previous and it just didn’t match correctly, these make the whole office look so nice!

Travel cover complete with Velcro cutouts so he can still tie off his boat with the cover on. I also did something new and made a mesh add on that zips to the Bimini top to keep the bugs out but still allows for plenty of air flow
