Bittersweet in that we're selling our place in Alma, CO (highest town in North America. Leadville is the highest city and just over Mosquito Pass, we also have a lot in Leadville). We've put in a lot of time and effort building this place and love the area, but some life changes coming up and we could use the money. The shell is from a local log building company that uses dead standing pine, we did a lot of the work from framing but mostly interior work. Our agent really did a nice job with the listing and the photos were peak leaf week. Sounds like our buyers are from Houston and looking to make this their primary residence, hope they're up for it, it's a long winter at 11,000'!

This 2317 square feet Single Family home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is located at 625 Quartzville Rd, Alma, CO.

Just refinished this coffee table that some foster dogs had chewed on. Not exactly a perfect repair, but it's only for me, so I'm okay with it. Had it been for a client, I would have gone through other walnut to get a better grain match. The slab I purchased from Dan at TC Woods about 8 years ago, some beautiful color and figure in this air dried piece. The stretcher and front leg are from kiln dried walnut from Austin Hardwoods, it's very nice walnut but not as nice as the air dried slab. Anyhow, nice to have it back in the living and hopefully I don't have another foster chew on it anytime soon!

Huge thanks to Sheba for watching the pups this weekend. Allowed me to get to Alma to get some work done before the crew comes in to finish the interior chinking this week. Long story, hired a guy to do the interior, but part way through he decided he would earn more painting in Vail. No doubt he did but left us in the position of finding someone else to finish the job, that will happen soon. A couple of pics of other work, a few floating shelves in the kitchen and the pups chilling on the deck in between playing on the snow still on the deck.
