🎉Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of attending the Launch Party for a project we had the privilege to be a part of- presenting the Ocean Club of Duck, a brand new property with Twiddy, where beach elegance, spa wellness and beachfront fun meet.

Our very good clients and friends, Ted & Eileen, have done roughly a dozen houses/projects with us and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the way this latest addition turned out!

Alana and Eileen worked together to select and situate the optimal furniture pieces to help bring this stunning vision to life. Here is a sneak peek of some of the amazing rooms within the home.

2025 has been quite a year. It brought us profound heartache with the loss of Derek, but it also brought unexpected comfort and joy in witnessing the countless lives he touched and the incredible outpouring of love from you, our customers. Your messages, kindness, and willingness to grieve alongside us during such a difficult time meant more than we can ever express.

Though this year was not an easy one, we are deeply grateful for you—our Upscale family—who have stood beside us, helped build what we are today, and continue to uplift and support us day after day, year after year. As we look ahead to 2026, we wish you a new year filled with the same love, compassion, and support that you so generously gave to us throughout 2025. Be safe and see you next year!

📣‼️KEEP YOUR 👀 OUT FOR THESE TWO‼️📣

One of our good customers who lives in the Kilmarlic Neighborhood in Powells Point had his two gorgeous babies, Rylee and Tucker, break off collar and leash yesterday around 1:30 PM to chase some deer.

They headed northwest, deep into the woods, and have not returned home yet, which is very unlike them. We are attaching photos of them clean and dirty after a romp in the woods so you can know what to look out for. If anyone sees them or has any information please call us at the store‼️

This Saturday, we come together to celebrate the life of someone who meant so much to so many — our dear friend, Derek.💙

Please join us for his Celebration of Life on October 4th from 1:00-3:30 PM at Sugar Creek Restaurant on the Causeway. All are welcome.

Bring your stories, your laughter, and your love as we honor an amazing man whose kindness, spirit, and joy touched every person he met. Let’s gather to remember Derek and the incredible legacy of love and friendship he leaves behind.

The Upscale Family is traveling back to NC today after a touching and beautiful service for Derek yesterday. A local Celebration of Life is in the works so stay tuned for details on that- we can’t thank everyone enough for the love and support over the past two weeks ❤️

We will re-open Tuesday with normal operating hours.

As many of you know, a week ago we sadly had to share the news of the passing of our owner and friend, Derek Wilson. Derek’s leadership, generosity, and kindness touched countless lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025- the visitation will begin at 1:00 PM and the service at 2:00 PM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.

Flowers are much appreciated but the family also has requested, should you wish to, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Derek’s name to the OBX Cowell Cancer Center in Nags Head, NC—a place where the doctors, nurses, and staff absolutely loved Derek and he loved them.
