All eight of these strange little carnivorous creations have found their homes, and I genuinely can't thank you all enough for the incredible support.

There's always a little uncertainty when putting a brand new design out into the world. But seeing the excitement around Luminosa has been pretty incredible.

To everyone who purchased, shared, commented, or simply followed along, thank you! It means a lot to this little one person shop.

From a block of walnut to a carnivorous plant lamp. 🌿

A look behind the scenes at how Luminosa comes to life.
Each one starts as solid Black Walnut and goes through machining, carving, sanding, finishing, wiring, and assembly here in my shop.

I make small batches of unusual wooden lighting and objects inspired by the natural world, and this might be my strangest one yet.

I’m giving away a Walnut Mushroom Lamp! 🍄

I figured it was time to give something back, so one little Mushroom is looking for a new home.

Just in time for the cozy months. As the sun starts setting earlier and the weather begins to shift, this little lamp brings a warm amber glow wherever you need it.

It’s rechargeable and completely portable, so you can carry it from room to room and, most importantly, avoid turning on the dreaded big light. 🌲

A little look at what’s been happening in the shop lately. 🌲

The latest batch of Elder’s Hollow lamps is freshly finished and resting while the finish sets. Next stop: packing them up and sending them off to their new homes later this week.

Thank you again to everyone who ordered and has been following along.

And don’t wander too far... there’s a lot more taking shape in the shop. 👀🌲

08/14/2026

Only 3 pre-order spots remain for Elder’s Hollow. 🌲

Orders close Monday, 8/17.

Then the shop goes quiet, the dust starts flying, and I get to work bringing this batch to life.

Thank you so much to everyone who has reserved one. I’m incredibly grateful to get to make these for you.

Made slowly, with uncommon care.

The workshop has a few new apprentices.

Their enthusiasm outweighs their experience.

🌲 Elder's Hollow pre-orders are now open.
