This beautiful solid cherry custom built furniture is IN STOCK and ready to go home with you.

We rarely build on spec but this is an exception.
Dimensions: Table 38 x 90 x 30h and benches each 15 x 78 x 18h. Table will generously seat 8, possibly 10 or more with the benches. Maximum legroom for tall people. Put whatever fancy arm chairs you like at the ends, as there is plenty of knee room. Floor to bottom of top is 28.25 inches. The table's design is also excellent for built in banquette seating, or if using substantial arm chars all around. The top thickness is 1 3/4 so it has a nice heft. It is constructed in such a way that it comes apart in several pieces and , if desired, can ship flat, making it easier to move through doorways. It has a hand planed surface and wears our popular "living finish". We do our best to make our furniture look like real antiques which will age beautifully and naturally.

If you love it but want a different size or color, get in touch, and we will build it the size, finish, etc. you want.

A reminder about our self-storing farmhouse extension tables. Custom sizes and finishes available. This one is made out of solid local alder and has storage compartments at both ends. Starts at 90 inches and extends to 144 in (12 feet) seating 12. Can seat 22 if you squish people like sardines along each bench.

This solid cherry extending farmhouse table with self storing leaves went home to Kansas! Closed, it's only 60 inches long, but opens to 106.5 inches (that seats 10) with (6) small leaves which store inside a flip-down "drawer" like compartment at one end. It wears a medium-dark rich golden living finish. Its family said:
Good morning! Pleased to report the table arrived last evening and I couldn't be more pleased! I sent a photo to my daughter and had to convince her it was a new build and not an antique. Such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. My thanks to you and Buck for the numerous hours spent on the piece. The size is perfect for every day use and the leaves will allow the entire family to be seated around one table at holidays. It will be well used!

Get stuff done with your favorite work buddy! This partner's desk is for sale at a price of $4200. As is typical for a partner's desk it has two locking drawers and a chair space on each long side. And if you need to keep your partner out of your stash, it is keyed differently on each side. Please contact us for a shipping quote. We rescued it from a beautiful home where it was trapped on the second floor due to a staircase remodel. The "rescue" involved some skillful work with a very nice Japanese hand saw. It is solid oak and is about 100 years old. It is still in great shape, and at 48 x 72 inches, it is one of the largest antique partners' desks that we have seen available. Has (4) drawers and lower stretcher. We installed brand new deep chocolate colored leather from . It is ready to ship. The lower section can be disassembled for easier shipping and delivery. A sturdy dowel in each leg makes it easy to set the top on the base, and the joints are stable enough with one long screw per leg (provided by us) and no glue, and the desk can be shipped in two sections if desired for easier moving. Glue would make the joints permanent and should be considered with caution.

A vintner's table done for Samantha against a built in banquette - this table is 46 x 84 in solid distressed antiqued and heavily bleached alder. It is wearing a light natural living finish and is pictured at home in New York. We can build these with a simple swivel mechanism for a tilt top if desired. This one does not have a tilt-top feature, but the photos show how the harp in the center can swivel. The entire thing comes apart easily at the mortise and tenon joints to ship flat.

Solid CHERRY farmhouse table, yes we have started building with cherry, and it doesn't have to go bright red. Advantages are wider planks without corresponding giant knots; nicer figure with chatoyance; gorgeous color with more natural variation; and extra hardness. It's a dream on the lathe, distresses and takes color very well. We do multiple bleach passes to get it as light and lively as seen here. For the time being, we are offering these at the same price as our alder pieces.

If you get a chance to visit New York City, you can dine at O'Cuisine, where chef Anne O'Hare will make you a very nice meal. It is a private dining experience, as the restaurant has only one table, and it is a chevron extension table built by us! The two leaves have the chevron top pattern continuing uninterrupted throughout. We matched an antique table leaf for this rich warm antiqued finish. Chef Anne was so wonderful to work with, and we are certain that a meal at her restaurant would be top-rate. She also offers classes.

I'm happy to present a recent new design along with the entire design / build / finish team. In back, Jax ( ) Buck ( ) and in front Kurt, Chloe, and me. The only one not present is interior designer Donna who commissioned us to do this project for a local wine making family. It is a barley twist ottoman with legs and stretchers modeled by Jax and mostly cut on the CNC with some hand carved details at each twist termination. We wanted the twist to flow gracefully yet the whole thing to look chunky and substantial. On top is a gorgeous tapestry showing wine making in progress.

The couple who bought this table live in a small home in lower Manhattan which has a view of the Statue of Liberty. The storing leaf design is perfect for small homes with space challenges. One or both leaves can be used at either or both ends.
Dimensions on this one are 30 x 66 opening to 90 inches with all four leaves in place. These tables can be made in larger sizes as well, with leaf storage drawers at one or both ends.
