Good morning LoneStar kinfolk. Been forever since I posted, but thought I’d let our faithful know what’s been going on.

With the ups and downs, and hits and misses with a small business I decided to see if they was something out there I go do, that wouldn’t kill my poor ole back. Turns out there is.

I started as trainee pawnbroker 5 months back, and I gotta tell you, I love it. I’ve been promoted pretty fast to Lead Pawnbroker and really enjoy the job.

I’m gonna leave this page up for a while. I still build and laser wood projects, and will still take a few orders here and there.

I can’t thank you all enough for all the support my business got from you guys. But no worries, I’m still around.

Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and has an incredible new years.

Good luck to Col. Nicole A. Mann as she blasts off on NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's SpaceX mission to the International Space Station.

You can watch live coverage of the launch tomorrow, Oct. 5, 2022.

As mission commander, Col. Mann will be responsible for all phases of flight, from launch to re-entry. Upon rendezvous with the International Space Station, she will serve as flight engineer aboard the station for the next six months.

Another custom board out the door tomorrow. Customer asked for utensils and an iron skillet. Turned out really well. Shop is open for business. Co****le boards are a steal at $225. Of course y’all know I love making flags too. Need some outdoor porch furniture? You know a guy.

First 4 foot flag build (48”x25”). Installed at customer’s house today. Awesome build, was honored to do it.

Ever wonder why woodworkers prices are so high? Well these days, lumber is a big part of that, but there's:

- knowing where to buy the wood
- going to buy the wood
- knowing what wood to buy
- ^ all that with the other materials for your project (screws, glue, paint, finish)
- unloading materials
- squaring lumber
- sanding (this part really sucks)
- assembly
- knowing what is messed up
- fixing the mess ups (most of the job tbh 😅)
- final sanding
- prep for finish
- finish
- waiting for finish to dry
- finishing the finish
- (optional) packaging for shipping
- everything involved with shipping

And that's just for your picture frame, imagine all the skill and time a whole table makes.

All this isn't to say "woe is me", just a peek behind the curtain!

Well LoneStar faithful, between moving and everything else in life I haven’t posted in a while. I’m officially moved out of old house and into new house. The shop is far from being setup but my old reliable work table got assembled today. Beyond excited to get back at it and start building and lasering. Don’t hesitate to drop orders, shop is functional and look forward to orders coming in. Love y’all, mean it.

Slowly getting new shop set up. Haven’t had many projects to do but a few things I’ve made. First being a vday gift for my love 😀. Be up and running full force in the upcoming weeks. Have a great Valentine’s Day.
