My Story

Hello everyone! My name is Brittnay. I am 28 years old, and born and raised in good ol Port Huron! If you would of have told me a year and half ago that i would be building furniture and home decor, i would have told you were crazy! Its definitely not something i thought i would ever do or enjoy doing! I never thought of myself as creative, matter of fact its something i struggled with for a long time! I am a single mother of a 5 year old, and we lived in a tiny apartment for the first three years of her life. So i never had the space to start woodworking. I decided it was time to start looking for a house, somewhere that is permanent and I can build a life for my daughter! Being a single mother I did not have money to go buy new furniture, and i had so much more room i didn't know what to do! So i decided im going to teach myself how to build, as well as how to use all the tools that comes along with woodworking! After that it was a wrap! I fell in love with taking ordinary pieces of wood and turning them into beautiful pieces of furniture! So i decided why not start selling my pieces for some extra money on the side, and its something i love doing! Im hoping one day i can open up my own shop, after i graduate from business school, and continue to do what i love most!
