Calling out to all friends and family for help. Some of you already know but for those of you who don't, here's a little history. Michael and I purchased 10.2 acres in Jefferson County on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State 7 years ago and moved out here 6 years ago with the goal of building our final place to live.
Little did we know how much would be required of us to get to a point of being able to build. It took so much that 3 years ago we realized we would not be able to continue unless we divided the property in to two parcels. Getting to the point where the county would let us divide it has taken 3 years of a lot of blood, sweat and tears. We were able to get 5.1 acres on the market a month ago. Unfortunately, it appears to be the wrong time of year.
We are located in one of the most beautiful parts of this country. We are surrounded by mountains, oceans, rivers and farms in an area that is self sustaining. The people here are so wonderful, helpful and caring. The views are breathtaking. We are very close to the Discovery Trail and the Pacific Northwest Trail and get a lot of bicyclists, hikers and campers to this area. There is so much potential.
Here is my request: please share this post on your page for all your friends and family to see asking them to do the same. There has to be that perfect someone out there that would love to be in this area and our new neighbors.

I am a little late getting around to posting this
but better late than never!

We are so thankful!

This month is our 4th anniversary in Port Hadlock, Washington after moving from Merritt Island, Florida having been there for 20 years. We opened our shop and have not had to want for work which has comprised of almost everything to do with sewing. In Florida we did mostly boats but here: house curtains, jacket zippers, household cushions/furniture, major boat covers/enclosures/tops/upholstery and even a restaurant patio enclosure.

Thank you to everyone for your support this past 4 years and we will strive to continue to serve you in the best way possible.

Here's an update. We are open to the public and strictly following rules by requiring a mask upon entry.

The Needle & I is closed to the Public during this uncertain time but still available for phone calls and emails (360-643-9080 or [email protected]). We are hoping that things will be back to normal soon and our queue to be overwhelmed so get in the queue now.

My husband, Michael, and I moved to the Port Hadlock area the end of September, 2019 after living in Florida for 19 years. During those 19 years we owned and operated Bambi's Boatworks & Canvas. We fabricated canvas covers and upholstery for boats, household items, restaurants, the USCGC, SpaceX and vintage cars. We are now open in Port Hadlock and plan to do the same type projects.
