Not even halfway to hump day and the crew is already stacking wins.

We wrapped up a beautiful solid surface countertop with a full-height backsplash. Meanwhile, the rest of the team is pushing forward on a few new construction jobs and getting drywall stacked for a remodel.

Just another busy day doing what we do.

Part 4 of our “Out with the Old, In with the New” series

A huge shoutout to the install team who helped get this project off to an incredible start—arriving ahead of schedule and getting the main unit unpacked and leveled by Friday afternoon.

Originally, we planned for two full weeks to handle install, calibration, and startup. But sometimes, things move a little faster…

Enter Mark Kemeny—who wasn’t about to wait around. Along with his very reluctant helper (who, for the record, thought she had officially retired from the shop renovation and heavy lifting department 😄), they came in over the weekend and powered through the remaining setup, leveling, and startup.

By the time Monday rolled around, we were already cutting.

Here’s a shot of Mark in action during the install. As for the helper… we’re pretty sure she clocked out early for happy hour that day 🍹

Part 3 of our “Out with the Old, In with the New” series

And just like that… we’re up and running.

Meet our new Computer Beam Saw—designed to take precision and efficiency to the next level. This system automates the cutting process, allowing us to program exact dimensions and achieve clean, consistent cuts across a variety of materials. It also streamlines loading and unloading, making the workflow faster and easier for our team.

A big part of this upgrade came from our in-house R&D (Mark Kemeny), who set out to find a solution that would not only replace our old panel saw but improve how we handle materials every day.

The result? A machine that can precisely cut solid surface and composite materials for countertops—and even handle up to five stacked sheets of plywood at once.

Smarter, faster, and built for the future of our shop.
