The 27th Annual Car Cruise Fundraiser was so very nice, even though attendance wasn't what we had hoped for. The weather held till the end and we all enjoyed the vintage cars, breakfast, lunch and a spaghetti dinner.

Thank you to our loyal Western PA Street Survivors Car Club for their donations of baskets, they were beautiful. Thank you cruisers for always supporting us. ❤️

We also would like to thank our Legion Members, SAL & ALA for all their help rhe entire day!!!

THANK YOU TO ALL THE LEGION MEMBERS, ALA & SAL WHO DONATED COOKIES FOR THE SAL GOLF OUTING. WE HAD SUCH A NICE AMOUNT OF COOKIES DONATED THAT WE WERE ABLE TO USE SOME AT THE ANNUAL CAR CRUISE ALSO. OUR LEGION FAMILY NEVER DISAPOINTS

ALSO WANTED TO THANK OUR LEGION MEMBERS WHO GENEROUSLY DONATED BASKETS FOR THE SAL BASKET RAFFLE, THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL.

FINALLY A BIG THANKK YOU TO ALL THE LEGION MEMBERS, ALA & SAL MEMBERS WHO VOLUNTEERED THEIR TIME THIS WEEKEND, STARTING FRIDAY WITH THE 9/11 CERAMONY, SATURDAY, SAL GOLF OUTING AND SUNDAY AT THE ANNUAL CAR CRUISE, WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU.

The Annual Car Cruise All Day Event at the American Legion Post 980 has started!!!

We are ready for breakfast for $8.00 from 9am to 11am.

Car Cruise Auction is ready with som great baskets

Lunch hot dogs & hamburgers on the grill starts at noon to 3pm

Spaghetti Dinner 3pm to 5pm

DJ, 50/50 Car Cruise Auction and fun!

This is a day of fun, enjoy the vintage cars, music and food. Show of your car, take a chance at the Car Cruise Auction with lots of great prizes, all the while helping raise funds for your Local American Legion.
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, COME ONE, COME ALL.

To ALA Unit 980 Members... its that time again to reup in another fulfilling year as a American Legion Auxiliary Unit 980 Member.

New 2027 membership cards are now at the bar.

Anyone paying and renewing their membership by September 30th will be entered into a drawing for a free membership. Payment must be in Laurie's hands by Sept 30th The drawing will be held at the October meeting. Again, please don't mail to the state, you may mail to the Legion, but you must still pick up your card. Any questions, please let me know.

Hello American Legion Post 980 Members. I'm sure you know that we have a busy weekend coming up starting with the 9/11
Remembrance Ceremony, which the SAL Squad 980 is hosting along with the help of the ALA Unit 980 and our home Post 980 and we hope you can attend.

The next day Saturday Sept. 12th is the SAL's big Fundraiser, Golf Outing. We could use your help....
If you could donate a dozen or two of cookies, store bought or homemade towards this fundraiser, we would greatly appreciate it and we know the golfers will love it, they love their sweets.

We have relied on our Legion Family to help us out in the past and could use your help again. You can drop them off on Friday Sept. 11th or Saturday morning Sept 12th. You can respond to this post in comment or email me at [email protected]
