How we got started

Aldaz Leather co was founded in my basement while I was living in Detroit Michigan pursuing my Degree of Doctoral Surgery. Yes that’s right, Im a dentist by day and leather furniture restorer by night! Long story short, I’ve always enjoyed leather furniture and have a genuine passion for taking worn down leather and giving it a second chance. Originally this began as a “hobby” restoring a few pieces every couple months in dental school. As those pieces were completed I’d sell them and use the money to get me through school. Fast forward, I’m now a general dentist practicing in the DFW metroplex and on the weekends I’ll restore furniture and open my show room with ready to go pieces to the public! Each piece is truly one of a kind!

Type of work we do

Aldaz Leather Co is a new/used furniture store located in Plano, Texas that specializes in refurbishment, and resale of used couches, loveseats, sectionals, and armchairs. We also have contracts with several of your favorite furniture brands allowing us to offer brand new pieces at a fraction of the retail cost.

Our goal is to provide quality couches at an affordable price.

New pieces come straight from the manufacturer. Used/refurbished pieces undergo a thorough cleaning process. We ensure that every piece of used furniture is clean and structurally sound. While we inspect all furniture before pickup, we also reinspect furniture for any damage once it’s back in our warehouse. Assuming the furniture is still in good shape we put it through our renewal process to clean and repair as needed. Any furniture pieces that require a color refresh, will be redyed with a custom formulated leather dye, coated with a protective top coat followed by leather conditioner. All redyed pieces have been tested for quality assurance and we stand behind our products. Once renewed, we resell old furniture on our website and other marketplace apps.

Aldaz Leather Co believes in full transparency, so if an item has been refinished, you will be able to see the before and after pictures. Questions are always welcome.
