Many times, re-caning a chair isn't as simple and just removing the old cane and inserting the new. Lots of times the structure of the chair needs attention. If the structure isn't secure, the cane can falter. Here are some examples of what our customer, Marshall, did to repair the chairs before being able to cane them.

After purchasing a 40 pound reel of fibre rush, he was able to finish all 8 ladder back chairs! These were originally purchased in 1980 by his mom in Pawling, NY. What a great restoration job of some great chairs with amazing history! Well done, John!
