I appreciate the new views and likes to this page so much. I've not promoted this page in two years, which is how long the store has been closed, due to the death of my husband Dan, who owned the store and was the talent behind behind all these beautifully restored pieces. So, please know that the original Turquoise Alley is closed....however, there is a new store in the same location at 505 Broadway in Plainview , Vendor's Market at Turquoise Alley. They have antiques, clothes, and lots of "stuff" too, so I hope you'll visit them!

Hey everyone.... I hope you all know about the auction taking place on site at 505 Broadway this weekend. Times were posted previously, but message me if you need information. Also, please know that my husband Dan left a little piece of his heart in every piece he re-finished...he so loved what he was doing, and loved that his customers loved his work. To honor him and his memory, a portion of the store's auction proceeds will go to the American Heart Association. Thank you for being a part of Dan's life, and his legacy. God bless you all~

Friends and customers~ The store and it's contents will be auctioned Friday November 15th beginning at 3:00 P.M., and Saturday November 16th beginning at 10:00 A.M. The auction will be held on-site, at 505 Broadway in Plainview, Texas. I hope to see you there!

Dear friends and loyal customers~ I should have posted something here earlier, but just couldn't find the words. I still don't know the right words, but I should tell you all that my husband Dan, the love of my life, and the owner of and the talent behind Turquoise Alley Furniture & Antique Shoppe, passed from this earth almost three months ago. He was at the store working, doing what he loved best, and had a major heart attack. I can't begin to tell you all how much he appreciated all of you, and how he loved that you loved his furniture creations! It's a sad thing that there will be no more of his wonderful imagination turning trash into treasure....he was so very talented. I'm not sure what will happen with the store yet. Either the furniture and fixtures will be auctioned, or the store could be sold. Anyone with a talent in restoring furniture who would be interested in purchasing the store can message me here. If there is to be an auction or sale, I'll post the date here. Thank you for your support of the store....Dan was so proud to be able to make so many people happy with his work. God Bless.
