After more than 40 years in Plainfield, Kastelic Canvas is closing its doors on November 30 and relocating to the Wheaton/Carol Stream/Winfield area.

We want to thank all our customers for many great years in this community. Many of you have become friends, as well.

Over the years, Kastelic has been known for providing high quality workmanship in everything we do; primarily custom-made boat covers.

We will be closed during the month of December getting our new location ready for Spring. We look forward to seeing you next year. Our contact information remains the same.

**UPDATE: The Plainfield PD continues to attempt to locate Sergio M. Majerus. At this time, it is believed Sergio left on his own accord. We are seeking the public’s assistance and looking for any information to assist us in locating Sergio. We are asking anyone who lives in the area of Meadow Lane and 127th Street to please check your cameras from Tuesday, January 28th, beginning at 4:30 PM and later. MISSING JUVENILE

The Plainfield Police Department is asking for assistance in locating a 16-year-old male juvenile, who was recently reported missing. He was last seen in the 12000 block of Parterre Place at 4:30 in the afternoon.

He is described as being 5'07" tall and weighing approximately 134 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red Plainfield North High School hoodie, and black Champion sweatpants with a black backpack and carrying a skateboard.
