Happy Weekend everyone!!! Havent posted in a while so figured I'd give some insight into why, along with why i haven't been building anything new. Went from intact kitchen to totally gutted. Then took a trip to Nashville to see our Army kid before he left for overseas, while also seeing my Brother that i served with for many yrs. Haven't seen each other in many yrs. Actually cried after driving away! Then back to brutal temps and more kitchen reno to include removing the fireplace in the dining room. Sheetrock is final up and almost done. Then we'll have cabinets, yaaaa!!! And at least 2 months before all this we've been collecting hardwood pallets that I've been planing down for flooring in our dining room and catwalk that goes into our livingroom. I've kept all the cracked, split and notty ones and have added starbond and different colors of epoxy. This floor is going to look killer when its done. Oh yeah, after the tile floor in the kitchen is installed I'm building our approx 3'x6' island with a butcher block top that I'm also making. Have a great weekend
