Adding texture to the rim of a copper ferrule for a cleaver handle I'm working on. I wanted to carry the texture from the sides of the tube up onto the rim. This has the added benefit of upsetting the end a bit, making a tighter fit! Now to add some pin holes and cut the slot for the blade!

Just a little placard

People kept getting stuck in our bathroom because the antique hardware isn't exactly intuitive to use 😅 Saige made a little label maker sign and I thought it was so cute, so I decided to elevate it a bit for christmas.

Laser engraving, and draw-filed bevels by hand. Keeping the bevels even was an exciting challenge and I didn't do too badly! The contrast in textures between the engraved surface (the ground) and the bevels tell a story. One of a moment of pause and reflection in our everyday actions.
