Applying a hammer texture to a brass dish for an incense censer.

In traditional raising, you usually aren't texture the inside of a vessel like this. However, since I used a press to sink the vessel first, I have to apply it at the end! I find the texture remains more crisp and defined this way rather than washing out after sinking!

Adding texture to the rim of a copper ferrule for a cleaver handle I'm working on. I wanted to carry the texture from the sides of the tube up onto the rim. This has the added benefit of upsetting the end a bit, making a tighter fit! Now to add some pin holes and cut the slot for the blade!
