We finished the custom chessboard box. This was a really fun project and in my opinion, came out beautiful. We used three different types of wood for the project, the chessboard it's self is made from Caribbean walnut and Hickory. The box is made from beautiful American black walnut harvested right here in Missouri. Had a friend make the pieces with his 3-d printer Kyle Emore and they turned out great.
