A special custom piece for a sweet family 🤎

This solid pine dresser has been with their family for years, and with another little one on the way, it was time to give it a refresh!

What was once painted white was completely stripped, sanded, and given a soft paint wash to bring back a more natural wood look. I finished it off with simple antique brass hardware for a little warmth.

I love getting to give well-loved furniture a second life — especially when it means it can stay with the family that already has memories tied to it.

So thankful they trusted me with this one, and I hope it gets many, many more years of use with their growing family!

I had someone reach out who was getting ready to move into a new home with her family and didn’t want to part with these pieces — so we gave them a new look to fit their new space!!

The combination of black, warm natural wood and brass details completely brought this set back to life while keeping so much of its original character!

From curb to cozy 🤎

This little bench was headed out for next trash day… but it still had plenty of life left in it.

After removing the one remaining drop leaf side, giving her a good cleaning, light sanding on top, and wiping on a fresh medium stain, she is ready for that corner or entryway that needed just a little something more!

I love pieces like this because they don’t need a complete makeover and being solid wood you can usually always shine them up again to last many more years!

A bench like this would be perfect:
• In an entryway with a basket underneath
• At the end of a bed
• As a plant stand
• On a covered porch with a few pillows
• Styled under a window with your favorite décor

This drop-leaf table had years of wear and water damage on the top, but underneath was beautiful wood just waiting to shine again.

After carefully sanding away the old finish, preserving the original inlay details, and applying a fresh protective finish, this piece is ready for many more years of use.
