lieve that the single most important skill any student can learn at school is critical thinking. Our program helps develop the curiosity of mind that’s so essential to scientific thinking. Kids are taught how to process and articulate information.
4. This program comes complete with the supplies needed for each unit and requires very little setup and prep time.
5. RATATAZ is more than just a fun science program, it’s completely sequenced in a way that integrates science concepts across disciplines, so information makes sense and becomes more memorable. It also comes with an NGSS outline guide, so you can easily identify what concepts have been covered in each unit.
6. Every RATATAZ unit includes a reading, writing, and hands-on experiment section. We integrate reading and writing strategies into science education. One key focus is teaching students how to strategically use opened ended questions to gather more information, just like scientists.
7. Our kits are designed for student-led activities and facilitation. This decreases staff/parent workload while increasing student comprehension.
8. Our open-ended question design leaves plenty of room to explore concepts beyond the RATATAZ science kits. This is where real inquiry and exploration begins.

Just wrapped up our epic 2024 Atomic Tour and what a ride it’s been! 🚗💨 We cruised through 36 cities across 25 states, clocking a whopping 6,000 miles in just 47 days. Along the way, we cozied up in 24 amazing camping sites, each with its own unique charm. Huge thanks to everyone who came out, cheered us on, and made this journey unforgettable. Until next time! 🌟

🚗✨ Road trip pit stop at Lake Manawa State Park! Who knew nature could be this scenic? 🌳💦 We stretched our legs, soaked in the views, and got to listen to the birds. If you’re ever on the way to PA, make sure to add this gem to your itinerary—it's a beautiful state park with easy check in! 🏞️🌞

Real Science-4-Kids and RATATAZ are on the road! We spent a fantastic year in AZ, sharing our afterschool program with over 300 elementary students. The students were terrific, and we were happy to see how much they loved learning about atoms, molecules, cells, linear motion, and building paper circuits. It was a huge success, so much so that we've decided to take our program on the road as a mobile micro-school to impact more students with real science powered by RATATAZ! We are headed East in a few weeks and will post updates, so stay tuned!
