I have been building these beds for many years. I have shipped them all over the country. This particular Fire Truck bed was built for this little guy just 7 miles from my home. You may notice from the pics, every toy in his bedroom is firefighter or fire truck related. The mural on the wall that looks like a firehouse is an awesome touch as it makes it look like the bed is on its way out of the firehouse.

This one goes back probably 12 years or so. I had a request to build a Batman bed. The parents and I discussed what they were looking for and came up with this bed. The favorite part of this bed for me was being able to find a light that shined the "BAT SIGNAL" on the ceiling.

This one, a "BJ And The Bear" truck bed is going to a future grandfather in Iowa. He says that his grandchild is not born yet but wants to have it ready for him or her whenever it is that they come along. He also has the same truck that he uses in his business.

It has been a while since I built this one. I forget some of the story as how this came to be. It is actually not a bed. The customer wanted just a cab built for her father. She wanted a flat front cab like the ones on the Garbage/Recycling Truck and Fire Truck beds. She did not want any lights. I forget what the emblem on the grille represents. I wish I could remember the reason why, but I just forget.

I have been building these for somewhere around 25 years or so. During that time, I have built a lot of beds and met many families either in person or thru the process of building them a bed. About 24-25 years ago I built a bed for a family with 2 boys. The bed I built was for the younger brother. Both boys loved and enjoyed the bed. The older brother always wanted one and now I have been fortunate enough to build a bed for his son. Lol, the father told me that he knew he was going to have this bed for his son before the son was even born. I have always enjoyed building and sharing these beds with so many families. It is amazing that after 25 years, I have found a new experience that brings me a great deal of pleasure thru the next generation of the families that I have built for.

This is a dresser that I tried to make look like a mechanics tool box. Although I would build these for any of my customers, this was a very popular option for families that wanted a Dump Truck bed. Again as with all my beds, this dresser can be painted to any color you like. It was mostly painted to match the color of the bed that I was building.

This one was a little outside of my wheelhouse. A mom and dad wanted 2 full sized beds for their daughters. They also wanted to take advantage of any available room for a few drawers, a shelf, and a cubby. This is what we came up with. Mission accomplished.

Hi, most of the beds I build accept a standard twin size mattress with no box spring. The only other size that I do build from time to time is this toddler sized bed. This Flatbed Trailer bed can be built in either toddler or twin size. I wish I could build my other models to be either toddler or full size because I do get quite a few requests to do so. Unfortunately, these other models can only accept the twin size mattress because trying to keep things to scale while keeping structural integrity can be rather difficult at times. As with all my beds, they can be fitted with lights, painted to any color combination, lettered with any text, and customized to just about anything we can come up with. Painting the bed to your child's favorite color, to match the room, or to match a company vehicle has always been a plus. Putting a company logo, any logo, or any design on the mud flaps usually puts a nice finish on the bed. I have found that adding a home state license plate with the child's name on it, makes it "theirs". I donated this bed so I did not know the name of the little boy or girl who was going to get it. On this particular model bed, you can add a bed rail that slides under and goes up the side of the mattress.

This bed was not for my son, but for a customer who wanted a particular style bed that reflected early America. We discussed different options. He wanted an early American flag incorporated into it in some way. So we came up with the red, white, and blue color scheme with the early flag of 13 stars. He also wanted a couple of drawers for storage.
