Happy Holidays!

This is always a good time of year for reflection and looking forward, and I want to take a moment to thank you for continued support, whether it came in person or virtually. 2025 was a hard year for many, myself included. I will always speak on community and how essential it is for all of us. I would not be here without it. I’ve met some wonderful people this year, put my roots down in Philadelphia, and made friends here that are irreplaceable.

While woodworking this year took a big back burner to real life, I expect 2026 to be my busiest and hopefully most fruitful year. Looking forward setting up a new shop, writing articles, finally starting a substack, some special projects I’ve designed, and a special Woodsmith Shop episode that will air on PBS(!) plus a few other surprises. I am so grateful for all your support this year, I would not be where I am without it. Wishing you all a
warm end to 2025. ♥️

Two years ago two teams of women went to for a two day build challenge, raising money for scholarships to new women and non-binary woodworkers to start their woodworking journey. and agreed to sponsor the challenge, and I had the honor of leading one of the teams and came up with a small bar cart design. Our team crushed it. I’ll be putting up shaperhub files and plans for this build later this week. It was a great little memory to see during a season that can feel a little directionless for some. Hoping next year brings more opportunities like these. ✨

Huge thank you to everyone who attended Woodworking in America this year: it was an honor to be among a group of talented woodworkers talking about their craft. Huge thank you to everyone who joined both my presentations on Tips for Small Production Runs. So grateful for time to see friends and make new ones always.

Thank you to for the great photos as well.

Feeling a little nostalgic these days: who else had one of these growing up?

Playing catch up in the shop with a project that I planned a few months ago, feels good to be back. A little video tutorial and plans coming later this week. 🤓
