Finished a fun project for a local butcher, husband, father, and badass. I had no idea what a “Ham Holder” was until he asked if I would make one. This rig steadily holds a thick and hearty ham leg so you can perfectly slice.

A good friend asked for a wood box to bury their family dog, Claire. They said it didn’t need to be fancy… but a dog is family… and we don’t bury family in quick pine box.

So, I went with an ambrosia maple box with a walnut top and walnut splines for contrast. Mortised brass hinges. Antique exterior latches and handles to match. Plenty of room inside for blankets and a few toys to take along with her.

Hopefully this will help Claire rest peacefully as she crosses the rainbow bridge.
