House Requests:
Smoking friends - pls do not smoke in the gazebo. The smell gets into the cushions and curtains and its impossible to get out. vaping/hookah under the gazebo is fine. The scent doesn't stick to the fabric or aggravate the sinuses of those of us with smoke allergies. You are welcome to smoke regular cigarette at the glass table area where the ash tray (orb) is. I set up a new umbrella so there will be plenty of shade for you. Also, pls make sure those butts go in one of the 2 ash orbs - not the ground, fire pit, BBQ, or fireplace thingy.
Speaking of butts....chairs are meant for one butt per seat please. I know we are a friendly group but my furniture is not super fancy and will break if not treated with care so pls one person at a time. The small white chairs are pretty flimsy. They have a weight capacity of 200lbs so pls don't rock or lean in them or you may end up on the ground. The bigger chairs and gazebo chairs are more hearty. They hold around 250-300lbs. Either way, pls be respectful of the patio furnace. It ain't real fancy or real stable.
Pls clean up after yourself including plates, glasses, bottles, kids's stuff ect. It takes a lot of work in prep and clean up to put on these BBQs. If we help each other keep he place clean as we party it makes it so much nicer for those of us who have to clean up after everyone leaves.
