Very important industry research was conducted at the Healthcare Design Conference (aka HCD) in New Orleans:

Beignets…or gumbo?

Where do you stand?

Visual ID: The reel opens with clips of New Orleans, including historic French Quarter buildings, street musicians, fresh beignets and a bowl of gumbo. It then cuts to a series of quick interviews at the Healthcare Design Conference, where Alex Marsh asks manufacturers to choose between beignets and gumbo. Interviewees stand or sit in front of their displays, including HAT Collective, IOA, 9to5, Integra, Lesro and Calyx. A running tally of votes appears on screen as participants share their answers. Captions appear throughout the video.

Promise — most of the time I’m on my phone, I’m working on social media or going through emails.

Visual ID: The marketing manager, a white woman with curly blonde hair, sticks a post-it note on her cubicle glass sliding door from Tayco that reads “I’m not playing on my phone — I’m working on social media.” She then sits in her chair and starts looking at her phone. As her coworker playfully pointed out, her retro lime sweater nearly matches the neon green post-it note. It was not done on purpose.
