Reupholster Sofa and Chair - Pitman NJ

In the middle of refreshing their front room, this Pitman, NJ couple decided their sofa and chair would not show well in the updated space.

They wanted a more random or floral pattern with "movement" that would offset all the rectangles in the room. The fabric needed to be subtle with just the right garden hues to bring the outdoors in. This large scale pattern from Greenhouse got the nod - a luscious performance jacquard with excellent hand.

The delivery of their completed furniture came before the wall paint. They were thrilled and confident the completed room would be as they imagined. Fun!

This modern wing chair was playful from the beginning. But wear and fading had dampened the fun. Smiles returned with with this brilliant musically inspired fabric. Some new padding and tricky cutting puts this chair happily in front at this Brigantine, New Jersey home.

The fabric was so much fun to work with, I have to share a full picture of it!

Bold and Bright - Audubon, New Jersey

A salvaged Duncan Phyfe sofa was to replace a clunker in the front room. But it had to be unique! The Zebra showcase fabric was priced preciously, so we suggested an affordable plain velvet to surround it. With black gimp, skip spaced nails, and excruciating pattern matching it is a delight! With some foundation tightening and a new cushion comfortable as well.

This pair of sleeper loveseats from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania suited the space well and had a nostalgic history that the owners wanted to honor. They were fairly well beaten and needed a makeover. Some new padding around the frame, augmented cushions, and a shimmery fabric from Greenhouse Fabrics F4190-Brass (which really looks like brass) contributed to the re-work. The field team patched a few issues with the sleeper mechanisms and these beloved beauties are back in a place of honor!

A biscuit tufted sectional sofa salvaged from Habitat for Humanity and revived for a home in Logan Twp. LOTS of sewing as the 'biscuits' are sewn together. A great durable chenille from Charlotte Fabrics (CB600-194) puts some glow in the room!

Five piece sectional sofa before and after upholstery. Left off the skirt for a lighter look and used a coordinate fabric on one side of the back pillows for some splash. Body fabric in a comfy sage (S2872-Woodland) from Greenhouse Fabrics. Delivered to Blue Bell, PA.
