This chair was given to me by a client who didn't want to see it in a landfill. A sturdy all-wood frame made this a perfect candidate for reupholstery. I love it so much, it now it sits in my living room. I get many compliments on the fabric choice, too!

Ever wonder what in your weighted blanket? Tiny beads of glass! I never use my weighted blanket so I disassembled it...the glass beads will become filling for homemade pattern weights for my shop. What else should I use them for?

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 I'm thrilled to share that I was recently interviewed for an article in Specialty Fabrics Review! 📰✨As we spent more time at home during those challenging times, many of us sought creative ways to revamp our living spaces, and reupholstering became a popular choice.

Upholsterers are experiencing a surge in demand as people spend more time at home, seeking to restore and revamp their tired furniture. Sustainable materials, quality craftsmanship, and a younger generation's interest are driving this trend.

The National Upholstery Association (NUA) is at the forefront, supporting and growing the upholstery trade. In my tenure as NUA President, we've created a number of new resources for upholstery professionals, including pricing surveys, clarification on federal flammability regulations, a job board, a mentoring program, and more.
