🎉 **THE MYSTERY IS FINALLY REVEALED!** 🎉

Remember those two mystery projects we shared a while back? The ones we only showed you from the back?

Well, now we can finally show you what we were working on!

We were incredibly honored to be asked to create the **2026 Premier Chef NWA Champion and Crowd Favorite awards** for an amazing event benefiting the Rogers Public Library Foundation.

What started as two pieces of beautiful ambrosia maple in our little woodworking shop in Pea Ridge, Arkansas, became something much more special.

Saturday evening, we had the opportunity to attend the event, see our handcrafted awards on display, and watch them be presented to two deserving chefs!

🏆 Congratulations to both the Premier Chef Champion ( Chef Mathew Zimmerman) and Crowd Favorite (Chef Alejandra Serna-Cardona) winners!

There was even a fun personal connection! The Crowd Favorite winner is with Tyson Foods, where Lynette also works. Although they hadn't met before, Scott had the opportunity to meet her and get a picture together after the competition.

For us, woodworking has always been about more than making things. It's about family, traditions, and creating pieces that become part of someone else's memories.

Seeing our work on a stage like this was a pretty special moment for both of us.

A heartfelt thank-you to the Rogers Public Library Foundation for trusting S&L Designs with these awards and allowing us to be a small part of such a wonderful evening!

What made the evening even more special was getting to share it with our daughters and son-in-law. Family has always been at the heart of S&L Designs, and having them there to celebrate this moment with us made it that much sweeter.
