Just finished this stunning solid mahogany buffet! I’ve refinished a few pieces like this before, but none had such incredible crotch mahogany grain it really makes this one stand out. I picked it up a few weeks ago, stripped away the old worn and scratched finish, and refinished it in an antique oak stain to bring out a warm, medium wood tone. It’s all sealed with a durable matte topcoat for a clean, timeless look.

Pieces like this are so versatile you could use it as an entryway statement piece, a console under a TV, a classic dining room buffet, or even transform it into a one of a kind bathroom vanity.

This is anything but your typical dining table! It began its life as a square piano dating back to the mid 1800s. The base is crafted from stunning rosewood an incredibly rare find today. We carefully stripped it down and thoughtfully rebuilt it into a one of a kind custom dining table that seats 6-8 comfortably. It has been finished in General Finishes Antique Oak stain and sealed with a durable matte topcoat for a timeless, natural look.

Slipcovered chairs are also available and can be included if desired.

I keep forgetting to share photos of our newest build!

We originally offered this piece in a smaller size, but after so many requests for something bigger, we expanded it to 90” which means more drawers. And honestly, who doesn’t need more drawers?

This one is built from solid wood, finished in our signature natural aged stain, and features 12 drawers with classic drop ring pulls for that timeless look.

I’ve really been drawn to richer, darker wood tones lately, so I decided to refinish this piece in a deep dark walnut and I’m so glad I did.

I picked it up a few months ago in a red mahogany finish that was still in pretty good shape, but I knew it had the potential to be even better. I stripped it down completely, restained it in a beautiful dark walnut, and sealed it with a matte topcoat. To finish it off, I reinstalled the original hardware.

What I love most about this piece is how versatile it is it works just as well in a modern space as it does in something more traditional. And that fluted detailing? Such a standout feature. It really gives the whole piece a high end, designer feel.

Isn't this piece gorgeous?! This style is one of my top picks to refinish - the exceptional quality and classic design work beautifully in both modern and traditional spaces. I usually paint these black, but this time I used black stain to showcase the wood grain and give it a luxurious feel. The original hardware is still intact and all drawers function perfectly!

Here it is!!!!! 🤩

I’ve built this piece dozens and dozens of times, but never with a matching hutch top! The hutch truly ended up being the cherry on top and completely finished the look. This is one of the very first hutches we’ve ever built, and I absolutely love how it turned out.

My client also requested grooves cut into the shelves so she can beautifully display plates and platters, which I think adds such a special touch.

The entire piece was built from solid pine. We lightly distressed the wood to give it character, then finished it in our natural wood stain for that warm, timeless look. Of course, we topped it off with classic drop ring hardware.

Now I’m curious… what would you display in a beautiful hutch like this?
