The grain comes to life across the three symbolic back plates, while the curved back rail and contoured seat offer unexpected comfort. Slightly tapered legs complete the silhouette with a modern, grounded presence.

Introducing Corinth Nightstand
Named after the temples of Corinth, this nightstand embodies architectural boldness balanced with an airy presence. Crafted in solid hardwood with rounded edges and carved details that lend softer depth, it is completed with a solid brass pull designed by Commune Design. The Corinth Nightstand is handcrafted in the Summer Studio workshop in Los Angeles.

Atelier Bar Stool in black dyed ash.
Inspired by sculpture stands found in artists’ studios, the Atelier Stool features plank legs that reveal the natural grain of solid wood. Its flared silhouette is grounded by horizontal stretchers with distinctive through-tenon joinery. A curved footrest, secured with solid brass hardware, adds a subtle note of refinement. Handcrafted in our Los Angeles workshop.

We were move back to our house in North Pasadena this morning from a hotel room where we’ve been staying since Thursday morning for evacuation.
We are grateful that we still have a place to get back to. And, of course, It breaks my heart to think of families which lost their places..
