Well there's another one in the books! Can't wait for the next one. That fitment with the body down is absolutely spectacular and I love when I get the cuts that nice! The steel dogs I made came in clutch today. Definitely making some more of those. Love me some good ol fabrication! Gotta say other than the 60,000 trailer tongue this has got to be my second favorite project I've done since starting this page. Got the new mig setup running pretty ripe as seen on the steel dogs. but could use some more small adjustments. Burnt up the Hilfiger's pretty good today. Whoopsie daisies.

Soooo progress on the dump body frame! Plate has been fabbed, cut, and tacked in. Gotta finish up tomorrow. Came together surprisingly quick even with a slight oppsie making a cut on the wrong side of the plate. We also did a thing. Much needed upgrades! Sooooo anyone in the market for a Lincoln gas/flux mig welder? Selling the old one cheap now! I can't wait to try out this new Titanium mig! Wish I could add the videos to this same post but I'll have to make another.

It's that time of year come let me change that engine l oil and filter you've been neglecting all winter! The sun came out as I was cleaning up so I decided to enjoy the weather and also do an engine bay detailing as well as interior. The before and after is astonishing! Did some brake drums today. Since no one else wanted to even touch them. Haven't done them since highschool automotive class! Almost 2 decades!! Thanks Tracy for the refresher course on those. I always love the "new experiences." Another one in the books. And sorry y'all I totally forgot to take after pictures 😭🤬 I was actually pretty upset about that but didn't realize it till the test drive.

Control arm was snapped in half. So I brought over my welders and assessed the situation. Got her all welded up and ready for the season. Noticed the other side was cracked too so I buttoned that up also. She'll hold a season or two as long as no more rocks are hit. The material was paper thin. Definitely needs a new control arm. But we made it work in the end! Customer is happy, I'm happy, it was still a damn good day as Ice Cube would say. Get at me with more welding work! Thanks for the opportunity, experience and work Dylan Michaud.
