What a day for the Boats N Hoes Maintenance & Repair crew! 🫡

Our morning started with a stranded semi truck at the Ebro Budweiser facility. After diagnosing the issue, we found the brake calipers were completely toasted and got the truck safely back on the road.

From there, we headed to Treasure Island to tackle a hydraulic steering repair on a Yellowfin, ensuring the owner could get back on the water with confidence.

We wrapped up the day installing Garmin electronics, which will give the owner the ability to monitor critical engine data and performance right from the displays.
We also customized starboard to install on Thursday that will give the customer a flawless look when completed.

One thing many people don’t realize is the wide range of services we provide. While we’re known as a mobile diesel mechanic service, our experience extends far beyond diesel engines. From heavy equipment and commercial trucks to recreational boats, marine electronics, hydraulic systems, and everything in between, we’re equipped to diagnose, repair, and keep your equipment running.

Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest weekends on the water, and this weekend Tommy and Justin absolutely showed what dedication, hard work, and commitment to our community looks like.

Over the course of this weekend alone, they were able to get 5 charter boats back up and running and 6 personal vessels repaired and completed — helping families make memories, captains keep their charters moving, and boat owners enjoy the holiday weekend the way it was meant to be.

To Tommy and Justin — THANK YOU. Long days, late nights, last-minute calls, running parts, problem solving, and doing whatever it takes to get people back on the water. Your work ethic and heart behind what you do doesn’t go unnoticed.

Some jobs are routine maintenance. Some jobs become a full-blown “okay… who touched this before us?” adventure. 😂

We’re beyond thankful for the Sloan family with Beach Coast Luxury Yacht Charters, LLC trusting us to help get them back where they belong — on the water and running charters.

Hearing that we were able to help get your charter season finally rolling means more than you know. Lost charter time is stressful, and when things snowball into multiple systems acting up at once, it can feel like your boat has personally declared war on your wallet.

This weekend means so much more than the start of boating season and time spent on the water. Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their courage and service will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, we are incredibly thankful for our community, our customers, and the support you continue to show our small business. We truly appreciate every opportunity to serve our community and local charters that keep people making memories on the water.

We know holidays don’t stop unexpected boat issues from happening — so we will be OPEN ALL WEEKEND to help keep charters running and help our boating community enjoy everything Memorial Day weekend is about.

🚨 URGENT – LOOKING FOR HELP / RESOURCES 🚨

A gentleman we know is currently away from home for work and has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer while in New Mexico. Due to his medical condition, he has been told he cannot travel home through normal means.

Like anyone in this situation, his wish is simple: he wants to get back home to Wisconsin to be with his family and loved ones.

We have already begun looking into transportation options and spoke with a private aircraft pilot, but the estimated cost is approximately $48,000 — an amount that is simply beyond reach.

We are urgently trying to learn if there are any foundations, organizations, charities, or medical transport programs that help terminally ill patients get home to their families. If anyone has information, experience, contacts, or guidance, please share it.

If no assistance programs are available, we will begin organizing fundraising efforts, including a GoFundMe, to help make this possible.
