I managed to sneak a few of my benches in to grand opening this Sunday! It’s a beautiful space. Jiujitsu schools are becoming more like art galleries.

A bunch of beam benches reclaimed from the 6th street bridge project. For sale mostly because I need them out of my drive way. Maybe I’ll keep one for the fire pit.

I’ve been meaning to post this for awhile. from some reclaimed 12x12 Douglas fir beams. plus every tool I use to build them. used to build them but for some reason they got discontinued. Probably because you need a chainsaw to build them. 😑

Finally finished the paddle boards!....(well I still need to build fins for the boards and paddles for the whole crew. 😑). One board is mostly made of reclaimed redwood, which took forever because of all the repairs I had to do. some of the repairs were covered with wooden butterflies. That board is appropriately named “La Mariposa Libre.” (The Carefree Butterfly) The other board is just redwood from Home Depot but somehow turned out better than the first one. .

Redwood number 2 turned out way better than number 1. I still need a lot more experience. Maybe They will get better by the time I’ve built 50 😬... now I need to build paddles. ha.
