Milk Barn friends, you're the best! Where you buy your plants is a choice and we appreciate every one of you that choose the Milk Barn! There are a lot of beautiful flowers at the Barn and we'll be there from 12 til 4 tomorrow (Sunday). You'll be able to pick up a bag of peanut butter cookies as well!

There are more beautiful, colorful flowers, vegetables and herbs in the Milk Barn greenhouse than ever before! Spend as much time as you like making your selections. The fountain will be providing background music and Devyn is always there with helpful advice. Don't worry about any rain, the Milk Barn experience is all under a roof.
In the bakery, oatmeal M&M cookies (red, white and blue M&Ms, obvi) AND Devyn's fresh picked, homegrown asparagus!

Devyn here! We are two trips and a truck load into cramming as many beautiful flowers, veggies, herbs, baskets and combos as we can possibly squeeze into the greenhouse. A great family makes for fun work even if we are all so very tired! I am spending the week arranging and watering and just plain soaking up the beauty for what we all think will be the best growing season yet! See you all Saturday 10 til 4 and Sunday 12 til 4.

Yes, Milk Barn friends, its time to open the Barn door on our 12th year! The Barn will be open April 18th from 10-2. Next week's post will have all the pictures. There's alot to celebrate in the Barn this year! No flowers until April 25. We've learned that an extra week makes all the difference in happy flowers and customers. The greenhouse will once again be filled with beautiful flowers and vegetables. We're really looking forward to seeing all of you!

The Milk Barn crew continues to junk, build, paint, sew, clean and squeeze in some fishing too! We're planning on a Barn opening the latter part of April. No firm date yet as it could be 90 degrees or it could be snowing. When we settle on a date you, Milk Barn friends, will be the first to know! We're planning a little birthday party (wink, wink). Milk Barn friends, Sparkles, our beloved old Barn cat, has passed. Rescued from a boring life in the city, she loved her farm home and we loved her! Demanding preferential treatment and playing to the crowd on Saturday mornings, she was no ordinary barn cat. We couldn't have had a better ambassador. Gosh, we are going to miss her.
