We are available on an hourly rate basis to assess and develop your interior space into a more cohesive, livable and appealing environment. Using your current furnishings, art and objects is our specialty! Of course, if new furnishings or accessories are called for, Boomerang for Modern will be able to assist you in making the right choices for your space and will provide special pricing for items chosen from the store. In the late 90s, I was looking for a creative place to live and I came upon an ad in the newspaper for a second floor abandoned machine shop measuring 25‘ x 50‘. I contacted the owners and told them that I would like to turn it into a loft space and they were open to the idea at my expense. It turned into a magical place. I built a cube within the space that was my sleeping area, but the rest was completely open. It was published in numerous magazines, local and nationally and was on HGTV as well as other local stations. I lived there for five years, five wonderful years before the owners decided that they wanted it for themselves. I recently came upon an ad for this space as it was now for sale. You can imagine my horror when looking at the photographs! Enough said. The final photograph is how it looked when I first began work.

The next installment of ephemera from my personal collection is this series of four Alexander Girard samples for Maharam. I’ve had these for 30+ years and it’s time to pass them on. They are still in their original packaging and I’ve never been used. The designs are woven in and not printed on the fabric. Each one measures 4 inches by about 60. $120 for the set of four.

Hey friends, I’m going through my book collection and I’ll slowly be putting up for sale some books for my personal collection., This is a first addition book by Frank Lloyd Wright from 1958. It’s titled the living city. It’s a beautiful book in near mint condition. It also contains a lovely fold out of his illustration concept for this city. You can find them online up to $2000. This one I am selling for $98. Have a look!
