More information:
Wright Design Group of companies was founded by business partners Daniel Wright and Tim Clark. Wright is C.I.D., Allied member A.S.I.D. certified, and Clark is a licensed general contractor. They have been working in the Coachella Valley more than twelve years and their sense of aesthetics and solid craftsmanship is only matched by all their community involvement. Wright Design Group influenced the Modernism movement in Palm Springs with the restoration of the Alexander built homes, for which the prestige lifestyle magazine Palm Springs Life coined the duo "The Alexander Revivalists" in March 2001. They are a three time International Gold Nugget Award of Merit recipient for renovation/restoration of valley residences. The style of Wright Design Group spans farther and wider than the Mid Century style of Palm Springs to homes of Funky elegance and contemporary Modern Ethnic, including Moroccan and Asian influences to an eclectic traditional theme; with distinguished homes throughout the valley and in addition, projects in Laguna Beach, Newport, Anaheim Hills, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, New York, and Paris. Distinctive projects have been published not only in Seasons In the Sun, Hwy 111, Palm Springs Life, and the Desert Magazine, but also Modernism Magazine, The Conran Magazine, Live It, Everything America, 25 Beautiful Homes; with feature projects in The Desert Sun and The Los Angeles Times, as well as being featured on Bravo’s “Boy Meets Boy” reality mini series and HGTV’s “Awesome Interiors.” Daniel Wright and Tim Clark have been strong supporters of desert area charities such as Desert Aids Project, Aids Assistance Program, Act for MS, Shambala Wildlife Preserve for 15 years. They have personally raised over 1 million dollars for the non-profits they have been involved with. It is work like this and much more that earned them the prestigious Golden Halo Award for Philanthropy from the Southern California Motion Picture Council in 2011. The Golden Halo is the SCMPC's highest award. Past honorees include Bette Davis, James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Robert Mitchum, Doris Day and Charlton Heston, Jean Harlow, Lucille Ball and many more.
