Hello Everyone ... We just wanted to give you a heads up about a couple of things happening here at the shop. First, we're going to change our shop hours for the summer. Tuesdays through Fridays will remain the same (9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Daily), We will remain closed on Sundays and Mondays. However, our 'new' summer hours for Saturdays will be 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. beginning Saturday, the 30th of May. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we've determined that the 'traffic' times on Saturdays are between those hours. Generally after 3:00, other than our 'bench' time in the shop, you could almost hear crickets in the background. We would be grateful to all of our friends if you would pass the word around.
Secondly, I am taking a short break beginning on the afternoon of Thursday, the 4th of June to visit my brother Marty for the weekend. I will be back in the shop on the following Tuesday (the 9th) @ 9:00 A.M. as usual. So technically, I'll only be physically away from the shop the afternoon of that Thursday, and all of Friday and Saturday. I'm just re-charging 'my' batteries a bit.
Most, if not ALL of the 'set-ups' and other repairs will be on hold during my short absence. We 'WILL' however; be open for business as usual so we welcome everyone to stop and visit, shop with us or; in the case of needed repairs; drop off your instrument(s) as long as you are comfortable with the fact that they will not go on our bench until I return that following Tuesday. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but; I need a small break to rest a bit and .... 'vacate' ...
Finally, last but CERTAINLY not 'LEAST' ... All of us at Stringworks would like to congratulate our newest additions to the live music scene with the recent openings of "Dry Ground Brewery" and "Paducah Beer Werks" !!! Both are superbly suited to Paducah's vibrant Artist/Music scene. Additionally, they have
created new and exciting venues for live entertainment; both locally, regionally and nationally. With the likes of additional venues like Maiden Alley Cinema, JP's and others, the artist and musical community in Paducah is thriving and continually growing. Our sincerest best wishes for the continued success of the Breweries as well as all of the regions 'live music' venues. God Bless .... Timothy, Dan, Angel & Thomas.
