We are looking for a Furniture Worker to be a part of the team here at Paducah Warehouse Furniture! It is a set hours of 35 hours a week starting at $12 a hour for a probationary period.
Job description:
A furniture load out associate is responsible for preparing, assembling, moving, loading, and unloading furniture while helping keep the showroom and warehouse organized and safe. The role is physically demanding and usually combines customer service, warehouse work, and basic assembly duties.
Responsibilities
Driving to separate warehouse (need drivers license)
Assemble furniture such as beds, tables, dressers, recliners, sectionals, etc.
Move and stage furniture on the sales floor
Load heavy furniture into customer vehicles safely
Assist with unloading delivery trucks and organizing warehouse
Clean and maintain the showroom floor, warehouse, and loading areas
Use dollies, hand trucks, straps, and other moving equipment
Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries or product damage
Skills & Qualifications
Able to lift and move heavy items regularly (50-150+lbs with team help)
Able to stand, bend, lift, and walk for long periods
Basic tool and furniture assembly knowledge
Good teamwork and communication skills
Attention to detail to avoid damaging merchandise
Dependability and strong work ethic
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
