Big day today! Finally installed hardwood and it’s so, so good. Big shout out to T dog and Beck for helping us complete the install in only 2 days. Thank you for your time and *cough* expertise. Even though I definitely worked the hardest. Couldn’t have done it without you.

Although things don’t always go according to plan with this house, I’m very proud of myself and for making as much progress as we have over the past several months. It’s been a ton of work and at times a ton of stress. We don’t give ourselves as much credit as we should. I’m extra guilty of this. Thank you for being my rock through this. Now let’s get this drywall going!

Photo dump! Check this one out y’all! We installed our final two windows in the master bedroom of the house. Also got the majority of the soffit and facia completed as well. Siding is ordered and on the way. As soon as we get it installed the outside is complete. Praise Buddha!

Bathroom and kitchen update! We installed a pocket door to save some sq footage in the bathroom. We tried to install a pocket door in the master bedroom a couple weeks ago and just could not figure it out. Took a break and came back and tried again and we were able to install this pocket door in the bathroom after an hour or two of frustrating work. Then I went back and installed the pocket door in the bedroom in about seven minutes. 🙃 It’s really awkward on your first attempt! Anyway here are a couple pictures of the bathroom and kitchen areas. More to come soon!

Installed a heater/air conditioning unit today! Heard good reviews of these units and the install was a breeze. Can’t wait to see how it works 😎

New front door! Started from scratch because there was no front door on this place, only an entrance through the patio. Full day of work because the subfloor was tucked under the sills. We’ll be posting pictures of the exterior next week. 🐸🐸🐸

We got windows! Big weekend with installing windows in a couple existing holes and adding a new spot for a window with a lake view! Big thanks to T Dawg for the help in the sketchy 2 ladder part of this job. We love our new windows!
